Free Analysis
Trust & Investment Services offers a free analysis of an employer's retirement plan situation. We ultimately propose the appropriate services needed to meet the employer's goals. All costs are clearly identified in the proposed arrangement as well as in any existing arrangement. Where the Bank's services are not appropriate or not available, we recommend services from a proven network of national and local providers.

The analysis includes the following:

Initial Assessment - We gather information about:

  • The employers goals
  • Limitations relative to cost and contributions
  • Current plan, if one exists
  • Points of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with current arrangement

Plan Selection

  • We identify the type of plan that will best meet the employer's goals relative to their situation.

Plan Design

  • We identify the most appropriate plan provisions to incorporate (eligibility, vesting, loans, hardships, etc.).
  • Suggest appropriate contribution formulas
  • Review the alternative forms of investment direction (participant directed vs. employer or professionally managed pool)

Investment Selection

  • We recommend the most appropriate investment type (individual securities, mutual funds).
  • We present the Bank's criteria for investment selection and, where appropriate, make recommendations.

Investment Policy

  • We review any existing policy and/or provide guidance for a new policy.

Cost Analysis

  • All costs are clearly identified in the proposed arrangement as well as in any existing arrangement.
